Privacy Policy

Driver Apex Companion is designed with privacy as a default. Your telemetry data, lap history, and AI coaching results never leave your device. No account is required. No analytics are collected.

1. Who We Are

Driver Apex Companion is an independent app developed by Danilo Castro (support@driverapex.com). "We", "us", and "our" in this policy refer to the developer individually.

2. What Data the App Collects

The app collects the following data, stored only on your device:

None of this data is transmitted to any server. It exists only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

3. Subscription and Billing Data

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through their native billing systems. The app uses react-native-iap to communicate directly with the platform store - there is no third-party subscription management service involved.

Subscription status (active, trial, expired) is verified on-device by querying the platform store directly. No subscription data, purchase receipts, or device identifiers are sent to the developer or any external service. The developer never sees, stores, or processes your payment details. All billing is handled by Apple and Google under their respective privacy policies.

4. AI Model and Coaching Data

When you use AI Coach mode, the app passes your lap telemetry to a language model running entirely on your device. No telemetry is sent to any external AI service, cloud server, or third party. The AI analysis happens locally and the results are stored on-device in your lap history only.

5. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party SDKs:

No analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or subscription management SDKs are included in the app.

6. Data Retention

All data (lap history, track layouts, settings) is stored locally on your device. It is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. The developer has no access to this data and cannot restore it if lost.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us and we will help with removal.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated via app update notes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
